Tracy Floreani accepts job at Oklahoma City University

Associate Professor of English Tracy Floreani is leaving Baker University to teach in the English department at Oklahoma City University.

Student safety No. 1 priority for Nieder

For eight hours a day, four days a week, security guard Jim Nieder watches over campus. Nieder, a father of six, originally applied for the job at Baker to keep busy after retiring. He will retire from Baker in September.

New programs valuable to Baker

On Oct. 10, the Baker women’s bowling team competed in its first-ever tournament at the Midstates Championship in Wichita.  Just 28 days later, on Nov. 7, the Baker wrestling team hit the mats in the first dual of the program’s history against York College and won 30-21.
