Valentine's Day isn't that bad

I promised myself when I started blogging about marriage that I would never blog about Valentine’s Day which may be why it has taken me so long to write this week (or that wonderful LA 401 outline that was due). I think the intention to not focus on the day is what actually had me thinking about what needed to be said so much. Celebrating at 21

Friday was kind of a big deal for me. Friday, January 29, 2010 I turned 21. It seems like there are tons of great things that come with this birthday. I can rent a car, gamble and drink alcohol. I noticed that as it got closer and closer to my birthday I would hear more and more about how this big birthday year isn’t all that it has been cracked up to be.
