Sudafed saved my marriage
3/25/10 5:42 PM
I’ve been writing this blog about everything that marriage is for a while now. I’ve been wrong. The only thing that marriage always is would be changing. I have been so fortunate in my marriage to have a husband that has supported my every decision, rubbed my feet at night, made me dinner regularly and on occasion he says some really sweet things. But there are some things about marriage you never see coming and once it happens you think to yourself, “Dear God, is this what the rest of my life will be like?” Sounds pretty bad, right? This week I have known my husband for six years. In June we will have been in a relationship at some level for six years. They all sound amazing. But when I listen to these stories it is a constant reminder of how my life is different. When people ask me what my plans are, I go off on this excited ramble about everything I have to do in good old Ottawa. I...Murphy's Law

It has been a week since I have written but trust me … it’s all been with good reason and it has provided me with so many stories I truly don’t know where to start. College teaches you many things. This week, my college lesson was to live life by Murphy’s Law. After last week I could swear my parents may even consider naming me Murphy if they had a do-over. Things started getting bad on Sunday. I have mentioned before that I have the oh-so-dreadful LA401 paper coming up. I worked so diligently over the weekend. I’m not really one to procrastinate – don’t get me wrong I’m not perfect in this department but I LA401 wasn’t one of those things I really wanted to freak out about. By Sunday evening I was about...
