Reason #27 Marriage is Incredible
0 page views
I know I am not the only person on campus that feels this way but it’s been a rough week. As I sat in my Mass Media Ethics class it seemed like a heard multiple people say that they were under the same impression that professors across campus have plotted against students to try to make everything due at the same time – just to see what happens. Lucky for me, I have had a plan.
Every Monday Wednesday and Friday I make lists of what all I need to get done to have a successful week. But since last week I have had chemistry tests, self-critiques, two eight-page papers and tons of reading. At work tax season is wrapping up at work which is always…fun. And because of my husband and I’s recent decision to try to buy a bigger house our home is on the market and has to be clean for showings. All of that said, this is the week the lists just didn’t work. As I crammed for that test and scrambled for that paper I realized that life is a college student is so much worse than ‘the real world’. Sure there are busy days in the work force but I haven’t seen my husband in like a month.
Even as my blood pressure sky rocketed through the roof I realized that my husband…he’s incredible. I know I can be a pain when things get stressful but that guy is incredible in making sure that he does what he can to make things better. Sure, he admittedly never reads my blog. Sure, laundry is never touched by hands other than mine but he can take a good break down pretty well. I guess I’m just saying that the support you get when you are married to someone that truly cares really makes life a lot easier.
