Some memories mean too much to fade away with the life of the person who lived them. That's the reasoning behind StoryCorps, a non-profit company with a mission to collect an oral history of America. Last June, people from the Baldwin City area, including two Baker University professors and two students, recorded some of their memories for StoryCorps.
Baker students and faculty members have learned the path to perfection isn't one's physical appearance but the heart and strength of mind to overcome the idea that it is.
Junior Cyrus Oliver II has been creating and compiling a weekly comic strip for nearly two years. His strip, Funny Bunnies, was regularly featured in the Ottawa Herald from March to October of 2006, and it has appeared in many other publications. Updated every Sunday, it will be available on our Web site for the duration of Oliver's academic career at Baker.
