Though it may not seem like spring outside, Baker University will be celebrating with its annual Spring Fest activities for the campus next week.
Junior Brandi Reese, president of Student Activities Council, said she thinks this year’s events will be a big hit.
“Having Spring Fest is such a good way to meet new people and have fun doing it,” she said. “Besides, it’s great to see great participation among the students because we work really hard to bring events that will make them want to participate.”
Senior Jeff Juiliano said ever since his freshman year he has always looked forward to Spring Fest.
“My favorite part of the whole Spring Fest is the dance at the (Salt) Mine, and since we only get to have them on certain occasions, there is usually always a good turnout,” he said.
With a different activity every night of the week, there are bound to be events that are more popular than others.
“Usually, we have the best turnout at the inflatables on Tuesday,” Reese said. “All the events are fun, so I’m hoping that they all tie and have tons of people come out to all of them.”
