The Baker women’s bowling team started off its season Saturday and Sunday at the Midstates Championship in Wichita.
The Wildcats had two teams competing, with the first team finishing 12th overall and the second team finishing 15th overall.
Sophomore Caitlin Campbell said the tournament gave the players a very good measuring point of where they are compared to their competition.
Campbell was the top bowler for the Wildcats and placed fifth overall in the tournament.
This is Campbell’s second year bowling for Baker, and she is happy with how the team is looking.
“I think it was a really good start for our team,” Campbell said. “We know where we are at among the other teams, and now we know what we need to do to get where we want to be.”
