Zeta Phi Beta sorority is looking to raise money and awareness next month for its philanthropy, the March of Dimes Foundation.
Since November is Prematurity Awareness Month, senior Logan Gallardo said the sorority will be hosting Change for Babies, in which members will be collecting change during lunch in Harter Union and also hope to have a jar in the Wildcat Café.
While the fundraiser will be going on all month, Gallardo said the sorority doesn’t have a specific goal for the amount of money it wants to raise.
“We just kind of take what we can get, because it’s all about the charity,” Gallardo said.
In addition to Change for Babies, Gallardo said the sorority members hope to do presentations about prematurity awareness and will be handing out baby blue ribbons.
