Baker University will welcome two new professors, Robin Long and Tamara Slankard, to the Baldwin City campus in the fall.
Rand Ziegler, vice president and dean of the College of Arts and Science, said Long is replacing former Associate Professor of Psychology Wendi Born and Slankard is filling the position of former Associate Professor of English Tracy Floreani.
Long, a 2000 Baker graduate, will be a member of the psychology department. Slankard will be a new addition to the English department and the new liberal studies program.
The university is still conducting searches for a communication professor and a laboratory technician for the chemistry and biology departments.
“By the end of the semester, we hope to have two more new faculties on staff,” Ziegler said.
