The Baker University bowling team qualified for the USBC Team Sectional Championships after a 26th-place finish at the Hoosier Classic on Feb. 20.
Each Baker athlete bowled higher than her season average, and two players finished in the top 50.
Sophomore Caitlin Campbell led the Wildcats with a 13th-place finish and a 193 average per game.
“I am so proud of them,” head coach Cheryl Keslar said. “This is history-making for us since it’s our second year.”
Campbell and freshmen Brittany Barker and Emily Buhler will also participate in the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Sectionals March 11.
Baker will compete against 63 teams at the USBC Intercollegiate Team Sectional Championships March 12-13 in Euless, Texas.
