The Kansas Athletic Trainers Society named Mark Stutz, Baker University assistant professor of health, sport and human performance, the Kansas Athletic Trainer of the Year.
“It really just kind of serves as another … motivation to continue working with students and just wanting to give it my all to help the students. I enjoy seeing Baker students succeed as well,” Stutz said.
The award is given to a trainer each year that has positively impacted athletic training in Kansas throughout the year.
Stutz serves as the chair of the Kansas Athletic Trainers Society’s College/University Athletic Training Student Committee, is a member of the Mid-America Athletic Trainers Association’s College/University Athletic Training Student Committee and serves on the Mid-America Athletic Trainers Association annual meeting planning committee.
