The Baker University football team faced off against former players at the alumni football game Saturday at Liston Stadium.
“It was a good end to spring football,” head coach Mike Grossner said.
Grossner said alumni spanning from 1983 to 2010 played in the game.
After the game, the past and present players met at Hickory Creek Bar & Que, and got to catch up with each other.
“That’s really a neat event to just hash out what they are doing with their lives and telling the old stories about Baker,” Grossner said.
Grossner said the games prepare players for the fall season. The team will have about two weeks of practice in August before playing Ottawa at home.
“I feel like we’ve got a good football team and a good group of kids,” Grossner said.
