GSA hosts campus T-shirt contest

To advertise its organization and events, the Baker University Gay-Straight Alliance is hosting a campus-wide T-shirt design contest.

GSA President Levi Sund said the organization tries to reach out to campus as much as possible, which was its main motivation in opening the contest.

“(We are looking for) anything that’s (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transsexual), plus supportive,” Sund said. “This year, we are going to tie-dye them. We are just going to get blank shirts with black print on the front, so just any design that is black and simple just for the front.”

The designs are due by Feb. 23 at GSA’s social meeting. Entries can be submitted to Sund via the organization’s Facebook page or brought to the meeting.

“We are just going to vote (at the meeting), so everybody that’s there can have a say in what T-shirt gets picked,” Sund said.

GSA will also be selling Candygrams for $2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in Harter Union Lobby. Candygrams consist of one dozen Hershey’s Kisses and can be delivered to any student living on campus.
