Ingredients

  • 3 cans of Cinnabon cinnamon rolls
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and spray a bundt pan and set aside.

Step 2

Combine the cinnamon and sugar into a large Ziploc bag.

Step 3

Open the cinnamon rolls and cut each one into two pieces and roll each piece into a ball. (Place the icing aside until later)

Step 4

Toss the dough balls into the cinnamon-sugar mixture and make sure they are coated completely.

Step 5

Place the coated balls into the pan.

Step 6

In a small bowl, microwave the brown sugar, honey, and butter for 1 minute. Stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves into the liquid.

Step 7

Pour the mixture over the dough balls in the pan.

Step 8

Bake for 20-25 minutes. When it is done, the dough should be firm and golden brown.

Step 9

Wait 5 minutes for the monkey bread to cool.

Step 10

Put a plate upside down on the top of the pan and carefully flip the pan over so that the monkey bread ends up on the plate.

Step 11

Drizzle the icing over the top of the monkey bread before enjoying your treat.

Alternative Options

Instead of using cinnamon rolls with regular icing, try caramel or orange flavored icing.

Add diced apples in the pan with the dough balls for a cinnamon apple treat.

Cook in muffin tins for easy sharing.
