What you need:

  • Butterscotch Chips
  • Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Apple Sauce Cup
  • Baking Pan
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Paper Towels

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 400 F.
  2. Make Snickerdoodle cookie mix, following the packaging directions, except replace the Vegetable oil with an apple sauce cup and add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk ingredients together until mix is well combined, without lumps.
  4. Add half of the package of butterscotch chips and mix until all chips are well distributed.
  5. Spray non-stick cooking spray onto the baking sheet and use a paper towel to spread the spray evenly.
  6. Evenly distribute batter into a thin layer in pan and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar packet from the snickerdoodle cookie mix across the top.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. To check the doneness, poke the bake with a fork – when it comes up clean, then it’s done.
