BU graduates prepare for ceremony

Graduates will soon be crossing the Collins Center stage to receive their diplomas.

On Saturday, the School of Professional and Graduate Studies will have the Undergraduate Degree Ceremony at 1 p.m. and the Graduate Degree Ceremony at 4:30 p.m.

On May 23, the College of Arts and Sciences, Undergraduate School of Education and School of Nursing Undergraduate Degree Ceremony will begin at 1 p.m., followed by the School of Education Graduate Degree Ceremony at 4:30 p.m.

The day’s events will begin with Ira DeSpain leading Baccalaureate at 9:30 a.m., followed by brunch at 10:30 a.m.

“I can’t think of anything outside of your wedding and the birth of a child that is any more memorable of memories as far as your adult life,” Myra Glover, executive assistant to the president’s office, said, “because it is such an achievement to finally be done.”
