Q: How did it feel to be named HAAC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 28?

A: Actually it was really surprising. I really thought I had an OK game. After I found out I was pretty shocked.

Q: At the Missouri Valley game you had eight tackles and three sacks. How do you feel about your performance?

A: Missouri Valley was such a good team, I just felt like I could have definitely played better. I didn’t even know my stats until a couple days later.

Q: How have you and the team had to adapt to playing without Andre Jolly while he is out with an injury?

A: Jolly is a type of guy you really can’t replace, but I know I can speak for the whole D-line when I say we all had to step up and take our game to the next level.

Q: What is the most rewarding part of playing football at Baker?

A: I love playing football at Baker because it feels like we are all one big family and we’re playing for each other, the coaches, and the students at Baker, not just for ourselves.

Q: When you’re out on the field what is your mindset?

A: I am a very joking person. I’m never really serious, but when I’m on the field it’s business and there’s not a lot of messing around.

Q: What are your goals for the remainder of the season.

A: My goal is to try and help the team to a championship, and I guess I’ll try to get as many sacks as I can along the way.
