The Baker men's team took third place overall at the 2015 Heart of America Athletic Conference Cross Country championships on Saturday, a mere 6 points behind Mount Mercy for a qualifying spot in the national championship meet. The women's team finished in the middle of the pack in seventh place overall.
The men’s and women’s cross country teams both finished in the back half of the University of Minnesota’s Roy Griak Invitational Sept. 26 in Minneapolis. The men finished 27th out of 37 teams, and the women finished 31st out of 37.
The men's cross-country team finished third out of 16 teams in the college/junior college division of the Southern Stampede hosted by Missouri Southern State University Sept. 19 in Joplin.
The men’s and women’s cross country teams opened their 2015 seasons at the Baldwin City Golf Course for the annual Maple Leaf Invitational. Both teams finished in the middle of the pack with the men winding up in third and the women in fourth place.

Baker University’s men’s cross country team finished its season taking 31st place in the NAIA national meet.
The Baker University men’s cross country team has won the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship for the third time in four years, defeating six other HAAC teams in Auburn, Nebraska. The women almost matched the men's success, but finished second of nine HAAC squads.
