Men's basketball ends season at William Penn

The men’s basketball team saw its season end Saturday on the road in a 92-66 loss at No. 11 William Penn. The Wildcats finished the season 12-17 overall and 8-14 in the Heart.

Men rally late but fall short against Grand View

The men’s basketball team fell to Grand View University on Saturday 86-81. The Wildcats had a chance late in the game, down two points with 12.1 seconds left, but they were not able to capitalize and Grand View sank its final free throw attempts.

Men lose third straight

The men’s basketball team suffered its third straight loss on Saturday, falling on the road to Culver-Stockton College 66-52. No Wildcat scored more than 9 points, and the team shot a season-low 29 percent on field goals, including 8-37 on 3-pointers.

Men suffer overtime loss to CMU

It was a tale of two halves, plus an extra five minutes, for the men’s basketball team on Wednesday night. After coming back from down 18 in the first half to force overtime against Central Methodist University, BU ultimately fell short in an 83-82 loss.

The Baker men completed a season sweep of Evangel with a 94-73 victory on Wednesday night in the Collins Center. The Wildcats’ 3-point shooting was enough to bury the Crusaders early in the second half.

Men roll Avila 85-73

The Baker University men snapped a six-game losing streak to Avila with an 85-73 victory against the Eagles on Wednesday night in the Collins Center. Sophomores Brock Mick and Nate Guscott both had career nights to push the men to 10-10 overall and 6-7 in conference play.

Men snap five-game losing streak to Benedictine

The Baker men defeated Benedictine 76-71 on Wednesday night in the Collins Center. The loss snapped a five-game losing streak to the Ravens. Coupled with a win by the BU women's team, for the first time in nearly five years the Baker basketball teams knocked off Benedictine in a doubleheader.

The men’s basketball team lost 93-78 to the No. 5 William Penn Statesmen on Monday in the Collins Center. The loss knocked the Wildcats to to 7-8 overall and 3-5 in conference play.

Men's basketball responds with win against Culver-Stockton

After its worst loss in nearly two months, the men’s basketball team finished off the week with a dominant win over Culver-Stockton College 94-79 Saturday in Baldwin City. The Wildcats are now 7-7 overall and 3-4 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
