In a battle of two of the top five teams in the NAIA, No. 5 Missouri Valley knocked off No. 3 Baker in double overtime Friday night to win the Heart of America Athletic Conference tournament championship. The Vikings will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA tournament and Baker will now rely on an at-large bid.

The men’s soccer team fought hard for a 2-1 victory over the visiting Grand View Vikings Tuesday night in the Heart of America Athletic Conference tournament semifinals. A late Baker goal propelled the Wildcats into the Heart title game for the third straight season.
