Junior Erin Greenwood threw a perfect game in the Baker University softball team's conference opener against Graceland University Friday. The Wildcats went on to sweep the doubleheader against the Yellowjackets in Lamoni, Iowa, and then returned home Saturday to take two games from Culver-Stockton College at Cavaness Field.

The Baker University softball team had not played a game in over a month due to inclement weather in the Midwest region, but the Wildcats got the opportunity enjoy the warm weather of Arizona over spring break for the Tucson Invitational. The Wildcats played 10 games spanning from March 11-15 and finished the tournament with a record of 7-3.
Vollenweider sisters carry on Baker legacy
Sisters Cari, Brittany and Kelsey Vollenweider are carrying on their family’s Baker tradition as teammates on the BU softball team. Their parents, Mark and Melissa, attended Baker in the 1980s and the three sisters have followed in their footsteps.
