The Baker University women are into Tuesday night's NAIA national championship game after beating conference rival Benedictine 50-34 in the Fab Four. Senior Ericka Simpson’s career-high 24 points pushed the Wildcats to a dominating win Monday night at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, Missouri.

The No. 22 Baker women beat the No. 13 Lewis-Clark State Warriors 71-52 in the NAIA quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon in Independence, Missouri, and clinched a trip to the Fab Four for the first time in school history. The Wildcats will take on their conference rival Benedictine at 6 p.m. on Monday night.

The No. 22 Baker Wildcats claimed a 70-56 win over No. 5 Shawnee State in the second round of the NAIA national championships on Friday afternoon in Independence, Missouri. The Wildcats play at 4 p.m. Saturday for a chance to go to the Final Four.

The No. 22 Baker women opened up the NAIA national tournament with an 80-71 upset win over the No. 12 Columbia College Cougars Wednesday night. Senior Jami Hodge’s career-high 30 points and the team’s hot 3-point shooting pushed the Wildcats into Friday's second round.

Women move on to Heart finals with upset win at CMU

The Baker women's basketball team upset the top-seeded Central Methodist Eagles 64-59 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference tournament semifinals in Fayette, Missouri, on Saturday. The Wildcats are on their way to their second Heart tournament final in the last three seasons.
