Women drop to fifth in HAAC

The Baker women’s basketball team had a three-game winning streak snapped in a 69-66 loss to the Missouri Valley Vikings on Saturday in Marshall, Missouri. Baker finished with 18 turnovers and a season low 7-20 from the free throw line.

Women' basketball takes consecutive 20-point wins

The women’s basketball team is back on track after two conference wins of at least 20 points this past week. The Wildcats defeated the Avila University Eagles 66-45 on Jan. 15 at the Collins Center and then rolled the Evangel University Crusaders 78-56 two days later in Springfield, Missouri.

Women's basketball loses two in a row

The No. 21 women’s basketball team suffered its second conference loss in a row on Saturday afternoon against Culver-Stockton 57-55. This is the first time Baker has lost two consecutive conference games since February 2013.

After losing its first regular season conference game in to MidAmerica Nazarene University on Dec. 4, the No. 10 women’s basketball team bounced back and defeated the No. 25 Central Methodist University Eagles 55-43 on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Collins Center.

The women’s basketball team stayed on top of its game to score a new season high against the Grace University Royals in its 87-38 win Nov. 25 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Women's basketball sweeps HAAC/KCAC Challenge

The 10th-ranked women’s basketball team swept two games in the HAAC/KCAC Challenge in Leavenworth. The Wildcats beat Ottawa 79-57 on Nov. 14 and then overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Saint Mary 67-63 on Nov. 15.

Women's basketball wins home opener

The Baker University women’s basketball team defeated the Midland Warriors 62-60 in the Wildcats' season opener Nov. 1 in the Collins Center.
