The Baker University football team announced its schedule for the 2006 season.
Under third-year head coach Mike Grossner the Wildcats will look for a successful start to build upon last season’s 3-8 record.
The Wildcats will open the season Sept. 2 on the road against rival Benedictine College.
The first home game of the season will be played Sept. 9 against Graceland University. The game will mark the debut of the new artificial surface at Liston Stadium.
The 2006 schedule is similar to the 2005 schedule with the Wildcats playing the conference teams in the same order as the 2005 season.
Annual events have also been scheduled with the Homecoming game being played on Oct. 7 against Missouri Valley College. The Wildcats beat the No. 18 Vikings for their first victory last season.
Baker will finish its season at home on Nov. 11 against Lindenwood University.
