The Baker University softball team will host its second-annual Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser Saturday to raise money for the program.
The dinner will serve unlimited spaghetti, meatballs, salad, breadsticks and dessert, which will all be donated by Johnny’s Tavern. Admission tickets to the event will also serve as raffle tickets.
More than 200 people attended the fundraiser last year.
“We raised about $3,000,” sophomore Brittany Vollenweider said.
This year, the softball team hopes for even more people to show up to help support the program.
“The money helps with transportation, housing costs, equipment, things like that,” Vollenweider said.
The Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Harter Union cafeteria. Tickets can be purchased from any softball player or coach for $10. Tickets will also be on sale at the door for $15 for adults, $10 for Baker students with IDs and $5 for children.
