Amongst efficient training and high team chemistry, the Baker University women’s soccer team is looking to be the most successful it has been in years.

“This is the year they should do very well, they should set the standard,” head coach Nate Houser said. “If it is any year, it will be this year.”

The team is returning everyone with the exception of starting goalkeeper Pam Brummit. Cal State University, Fullerton, transfer Margaret Dupes will fill the goal keeping position and add more talent to an already extremely talented team Houser said.

Captain Gina Schiraldi as well as first team all-conference athlete Christine Janssens will lead the team.

Houser said the team is thriving on a strong, happy team chemistry that is totally different from years past.
