Meagan Thomas is a senior from Colorado Springs, Colo. She is a mass media major with an emphasis in print journalism. This is her seventh semester as a Baker Orange staff member and currently serves as the opinions editor. Meagan was online projects coordinator in the fall of 2012, the editor of the Baker Orange in the spring of 2012, managing editor in the fall of 2011 and the assistant news editor of the Orange in the spring of 2011.
Meagan is also an employee for the The World Company. She has worked as a reporter for the Lawrence Journal-World since May 2012 and for the Baldwin City Signal since August 2011. She writes news, features, arts and entertainment and health and wellness stories. During the 2011 interterm Meagan interned with the sports information director at New Mexico State University.
Meagan is also a member of the Baker University Spirit Squad as a cheerleader. She enjoys reading, shopping, working out and cheering on her favorite sports team, the Colorado Rockies.
