October marks the month for philanthropic awareness for two sororities on Baker University’s campus: Zeta Tau Alpha and Alpha Chi Omega. Both sororities took advantage of this awareness month to further educate and support breast cancer awareness as well as the awareness of domestic violence.
Alpha Chi Omega wrapped up the month of October by hosting a “Wingin’ It” event which allowed the Baker University community the opportunity to support its philanthropy in an all you can eat wing night for only $7.
Students lined up at the door to try their luck and see how many wings they could eat for less than $10. Buffalo Wild Wings gourmet wing sauces decorated the tables and added a little heat to each bite.
Creative angles to generate awareness on campus prove to excite students and raise money to sustain quality philanthropies.
