As November draws to a close, many students on campus are sporting a warmer look. Men are bearded with facial hair and women forgo the razor in the name of “No Shave November.”

Zeta Chi fraternity decided to team up with this unconventional holiday in order to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Warren Swenson, Zeta Chi philanthropy chair, understood that a number of Baker students would already be putting their razors aside and decided that this would be a prime opportunity to raise cancer awareness.

The fraternity is hosting a beard competition and will have the campus vote for the best beard by placing money in their favorite contestant’s jar. The winner will be announced following the end of November.
